Anti-Depression Self Love Candle Recipe🌱🌷💓✨🍃🌙💐

image

ok luvlies here is my Anti-Depression Self Love Candle recipe for all my fellow mentally ill witches on my blog💗

Things you need (all precharged and cleansed where needed)

  • a white or pink (love) candlestick
  • blue dripping wax (health and healing)
  • black dripping wax (protection)
  • dried eucalyptus leaves (healing)
  • dried rose petals (self love)
  • 4 cloves (healing and naturally painkilling)
  • salt (protection and purifying)
  • coffee grounds (magic amplifying)
  • rose eo (self love)
  • eucalyptus eo (healing)
  • left over herbs and two sprigs of fresh eucalyptus
  • a small basin to hold the candle

(i know this seems like a lot of ingredients but u can tailor this to what you have and need)

Steps

  1. throw the dried eucalyptus leaves, rose petals, cloves, salt, and coffee in a motar and powder them as fine as you can with a pestle. focus on the intention behind each ingredient as you do this, what will these herbs help you with? (i guess you can also food process these? but since i don’t have a food processor i did this by hand and this step took me a little while lol)
  2. leave your powdered herb mix to the side, if you want to draw sigils on your candlestick, now is the time to do so. i used my ‘i am loving’ sigil on mine.
  3. now annoint your precleansed candle with the eucalyptus and rose essential oils. i used 2 drops of eucalyptus and 4 of rose because the eucalyptus is such a strong scent i didn’t want the rose to be overpowered. you want the candle super oily so your herbs will stick to it’s sides.
  4. over some parchment or newspaper, begin pressing your powders onto your anointed candle. if some falls off that’s ok, you can sprinkle it over the candle when the candles almost finished and your not handling it so much.
  5. melt the wax on the base of your candle using a lighter or match and, working quickly, press the candle to your basin to secure it. doing this now instead of as the last step makes it so much easier to drip the wax over your candles without rubbing off the herbs.
  6. now it’s time to drip the wax over your candle, just do this until you feel satisfied that you can see the colour and it looks cute.
  7. after you’ve finished step 6 the candle itself is finished! just fill the basin with leftover herbs and herb powder. i threw some salt and rose buds on top of mine too.
  8. stick the eucalyptus sprigs in the herb bath and you’re completely done!

to finish i just lit mine and left it near my windowsill to charge under the sunlight with two rose quartz and a tree agate.

i hope you guys are feeling better soon and if you like these posts lmk and i’ll make more!

A Spell To Find Yourself And Feel Stable In Your Identity

(The creation and casting of this spell was a raffle prize for @polyblank-the-ghost! This spell uses energy work, visualization, and crystal magic to cast, but you could sketch steps out instead of using visualization if you have issues with that.)

📦Supplies📦

🔮 crystals corresponding to your intent. I used labradorite (repels internal and external negativity, enhances intuition and grounds), obsidian (helps one to discover their true self, purifies negativity), amethyst (inner peace, balance, calm), green aventurine (confidence), and smoky quartz (grounding, stability, calm, confidence) as I already had these on hand. You could use other crystals or substitute other types of items with similar correspondences though!

🌱 an acorn. Mine was a white oak acorn as white oak is associated with strength, and I associate the specific tree this fell from with long term stability and calmness. (You could use any other seed, though, or even something like a peach pit.)

🕯 a candle (optional- I’m a spoonie and needed some extra help at the time I cast this!)

Personal Strength Jar

This is a jar spell I put together for myself to promote my highest good and removing negative self-beliefs.

I started with a small glass jar and filled a quarter of is with salt

Salt- Absorbs and repels negative energy, used in baths, cleansings, purification, used as a protective barrier, associated with Earth

Alternatives to this include garlic and pine

The next quarter of the jar I filled small bits of rose and chamomile

Rose- Traditionally used in love spells, carried for good luck in love, encourages friendliness, security, and truth, associated with Water, Venus, and femininity

Chamomile- Used in spells for, money, peace, love, tranquility, purification, removing spells/releasing pain, associated with, Sun, Throat Chakra, and masculinity

Alternative plants/herbs include parsley, oregano, basil, cinnamon, and cardamom

I filled the rest of the jar with Lapis lazuli and Green Aventurine

Lapis- Strengthens intuition, attracts spiritual love and relationships, symbol of wisdom and truth, associated with Throat and Third Eye Chakras, Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Venus

Green Aventurine- Clears and releases blockages and allows new growth, acts as an outer shield to negative energies, associated with Heart Chakra, Venus, Taurus, and Libra

Alternative crystals include, agate, obsidian, and clear quartz

Lastly, I sprinkled in some cannabis flower

Cannabis- Promotes positivity and peace, aids in meditation, intuition, and dream magic, associated with Saturn, Capricorn, Gemini, Earth, and Water

This is optional, of course

I sealed the jar with yellow wax

Yellow- Healing, friendship, productivity, creativity, self-esteem, beauty, humility, intellect, associated with, Air, Mercury, Libra, and Solar Plexus

Alternative colored waxes include red and orange

A spell with few and poor ingredients but strong intent will always be stronger than one with many and rich ingredients, but little or no intent.

And no, I won’t be taking second opinions on this.

Beorn’s Strength

~An enchantment to give you the strength of a bear~

What You’ll Need

  • A piece of jewelry (i used a bear tooth I got from my grandfather)
  • A picture or drawing or effigy of a bear. Even a stuffed bear works, as it is just symbolic of the animal
  • Brown/ black candle
  • Patchouli incense

What to do

  1. As always, prepare yourself and your space. Clean it, set up the items, shower and meditate or however you prepare yourself for spell work.
  2. Place the representation of the bear on your work space or altar, light the incense and the candle. Visualize for a moment, in your mind, a bear, great and strong knocking over a tree, or pushing a rock, or any show of strength.
  3. Place your piece of jewelry near to the bear on you work space. Now visualize that bear you picture before is wearing that jewelry (no matter how absurd it sounds and looks) and the bear becomes ethereal, ghost like, becoming nothing more than the pure essence of a bear and it is then absorbed into the jewelry.
  4. As this happens say “By strength of muscle, tooth and claw, my hand is strong as the bear’s great paw. Hear my roar, fear my charge, my spirit like the bear’s now strong and large.”
  5. Put the jewelry on, and visualize that the bear’s essence is now at your command. Connect yourself to the jewelry and feel the spirit within it, the strength, the power. Whenever you need a strength boost, wear the jewelry and repeat the chant from above.

If it helps, visualize this when you use the jewelry fro strength.

(I know its not a bear, but the idea of tapping into the jewelry for the enchantment is the same.)

I’ve done this enchantment a few times on varying pieces of jewelry. In high school I used to wear a lot of rings, all with different magics on them, one of which was a bear’s head that I first used this enchantment for.
